It might be the word we no longer associate with Gordon Brown, but it is also the English equivalent of the Greek word Phronesis, and that’s what double bassist Jasper Hoiby calls his trio.

They are at the Polish Club in Birmingham this evening and if you put your skates on you just might get there.

On piano is Ivo Neame, on drums is Anton Eger, and the band have a disc out later in the year on Loop Records, called Green Delay.
