I’m really looking forward to New Orleans , the first of four programmes called Re-imagining The City, on BBC Radio 4 this morning.
There’s bound to be some good music in it. After all, Nik Cohn, the writer who will be showing us around, was first turned on to New Orleans by a book about Jelly Roll Morton.
“Music is just here” Cohn says, “it’s all around the city”.
