The internet and social media are wondrously rewarding things. While confined to the sickbed at the weekend, I came across a tweet which recommended, and linked to, a jazz improvisation master class given by the vibes player and expert Berklee educator Gary Burton.
The following couple of hours were an absolute joy. I can heartily recommend this, not only for student musicians, but to all those who like listening to the music.
Burton is so clear, so wise, and so flab-free in his instruction and explanation.
