A third set of golden chameleon-bedecked glass trophies passed from magnanimous to delighted hand last night, as Jazz FM, supported by Serious, made a bunch of jazz musicians both UK-based and from across the Atlantic very happy.

While our relationship with the vast expanse of land that lies south-east continues to be debated, it seems there’s no question that as far as jazz awards go, it’s the special relationship that matters.
